I brought few dry fish, and thinking to use it on my film. I use Chinese ink to print out the physical dry fish. The texture looks great, but I don't have any idea how to put into the film.

there are a lot of roto in my film. I find out roto is not just tracing but more bring myself into the film. the image is from life and comes from my style. it make the image a lot life.

CycleAnimation

the skill is quite help.
it seems save a lot of time on animating.
I draw six image and try to make a cycle.
to attempt the MC Escher image, this is a best way to do it.

ritual

I am always feeling touch by their ritual. it is exciting and powerful.
I use pencil to draw and try to catch the primitive spirit.

OceanTest

I did some some woodcut texture and apply it in MAYA. i repeat it so that it won't look too dead.
ocean shader has its own dynamic wave. i think it works well.

i try to reduce the specular in ocean shader, and render out separated pass_1. beauty 2.diffuse 3.incandescence 4.matte 5.reflection 6.specular 7.specularNoShadow.
it help me to contro the light in the shot and be able to to some compositing.

I try to make complex shape.this is a hero who wear their traditional cloth.
the idea is from the right side of the picture.
I think I can emphasize the detail in the cloth later and make it more believable.
